– MPI-K9 Security & Protection Dogs announced today that it is set to acquire Asylum Gym, located at 5441 Harlem Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111. This planned acquisition represents a major step in MPI-K9’s mission to provide world-class training, preparation, and resources for those who dedicate their lives to public safety and national security.
Asylum Gym will remain open to all members of the public, continuing its reputation as a hardcore, performance-driven fitness facility. At the same time, it will evolve into the official training home for active and retired First Responders, Military personnel, and Security Contractors, offering specialized support designed for those who demand peak performance.
To further enhance the member experience, 24/7 member-only access will be introduced, giving athletes, professionals, and community members the flexibility to train on their own schedule.
Kipton Bucey, Co-Owner of MPI-K9, emphasized the opportunity for both the gym and the community:
